Friends of Somerville Choir
From 20th February until 14th March 2014 we raised £6,000 for our first US tour via a crowdfunding campaign on Hubbub.
THANK YOU so much for contributing to and sharing our campaign! Your generous donations to our crowdfunding campaign made our ambitious US Tour possible! Your support meant that were able to sing in world renowned venues like Washington National Cathedral. This will help our musical development as a choir, as well as establish Somerville as a college with a strong choral reputation. In fact, we booked the flights immediately after our fundraising campaign had ended!
It has been astonishing to see the willingness of friends, family, choir members past and present, and the wonderful Somerville alumni to help us. We can’t say thank you enough for giving us this amazing opportunity and for enabling us to continue developing the Somerville Choir into a group performing at a high international standard.
We are looking forward to being in touch with your rewards and we can’t wait to share with you the details of our trip.
