Since New College Choir will be touring Cyprus next week, the Choir of Somerville College has been invited to sing a service of Choral Evensong at New College Chapel on Friday. The choir will be singing the following pieces:

James Turle: Psalm 136
William Smith: Responses
Charles Villiers Stanford: Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in C, op. 115
Andrew Lloyd Webber: Pie Jesu (Requiem)
Friday 28 October 2011, 6:15pm, New College Chapel
The choir will be conducted by David Crown and accompanied by organ scholars Douglas Knight and Robert Pecksmith. The solo parts in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem will be taken by Tal Katsir (soprano) and Amelia Walsh (soprano).
