![]() Over the past few months the Choir of Somerville College has been involved in JAM's Writing for Voices project as part of the Britten in Oxford festival. Daniel Saleeb and Chloe Stopa-Hunt have written a piece called Psalm for us, a work for SATB divisi choir, SSA semi-chorus and organ. Click here to read an article about this project. The concert will be recorded by BBC Radio 3. ![]() On Tuesday our Organ Scholar Robert Pecksmith will be playing a lunchtime recital on the 1994 Walker organ at Exeter. The programme will include music by Bach, Wesley, Saint-Saëns, Vierne and Messiaen. Choral services at Somerville Chapel will resume today at 6pm. The choir will be singing Howells' A Hymn for St Cecilia, Rutter's O clap your hands together and the Kyrie from Victoria's Missa O magnum mysterium.
