The Choir of Somerville College presents a programme of two works written in 1947: Duruflé's Requiem is a treasured favourite of singers, organists and concertgoers alike. Robin Milford's long neglected Mass for Five Voices is a virtuoso piece and combines the late-romantic influence of Vaughan Williams and Finzi with a more foreward-looking and yet typically English idiom.
